1. Avoid red wine, black teeth, smoking and colas. The general rule to follow here is if it is dark in your mouth it will probably make stains on your teeth. If you do eat these foods/drinks make sure you brush your teeth thoroughly after eating/drinking them. If you don’t have a toothbrush handy an apple can do a good job at cleaning your teeth.
2. Throw away your toothbrush every two or three months (or the head if you use an electric toothbrush). For best results brushing your teeth brush at a forty-five-degree angle with a circular motion. And remember not to brush your teeth too hard.
3. Eat detergent foods. Foods that are crispy or firm can help clean your teeth as you eat. As mentioned earlier apples are great for this. Other foods which do a great job of cleaning your teeth include raw carrots, popcorn and celery.
